MOU Signing Ceremony between KFFIC and ASMINDO
Korea Federation of Furniture Industry Cooperation (KFFIC) signed an MOU with Indonesia Furniture Industry & Handicraft Association (ASMINDO) to strengthen furniture trading and establish cooperation in the field of furniture exhibitions on the 25th.
The MOU signing ceremony took place at the Korea International Furniture & Interior Fair (KOFRUN) at Kintex, Korea. Lee Sun-Jong, KFFIC president and Dedy Rochimat, ASMINDO president attended the MOU signing ceremony. The two Institutes have established the partnership in honor of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Indonesia. They have strengthened their relationship by cooperating in Korea-Indonesia export consortium and participating in KOFURN.
The Indonesia booths at KOFURN showcase prominent nine Indonesian furniture companies. The pavilion highlights the beauty of Indonesian furniture, renowned for its high-quality handicrafts, at KOFURN. This work is the result of a cooperation of Indonesian embassy in Korea, Indonesia Trade Promotion Center, and ASMINDO.
KFFIC plans to organize programs, including business meetings to further strengthen business relationships. The Indonesian embassy in Korea is planning to hold a seminar under the theme “The Opportunity to Enter the Market Following CEPA Singing.” This event is taking place at 4pm and will be held in the seminar room on 2nd floor of Kintex.
KOFURN is set to be held at the Halls 2 and 3 at Kintex, Korea from the 24th to the 27th of the September 2023. The event is expected to host representatives from 15 countries, featuring 250 companies and 1300 booths, showcasing a wide range of items in the furniture industry, including office furniture, home interior, woodworking machinery, raw materials and more.
